1.What's the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?

Medicare is federal health insurance for anyone age 65 and older, and some people under 65 with certain disabilities or conditions. Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that gives health coverage to some people with limited income and resources.

2.How do I get a replacement Medicare card?

You can request a replacement Medicare card online using your personal Social Security account. You can also print an official copy of your card from your secure Medicare account.

Social Security will mail your replacement card within about 30 days to the address they have on file. You can also print an official copy of your card from your secure Medicare account.

3.Are your services really free?

Yes, we are paid and trained by the Insurance companies directly to advocate on your behalf.

4.When should I sign up for Medicare?

Generally, we advise people to sign up for Medicare when they’re first eligible to avoid a gap in coverage and/or late enrollment penalties. For most people, Medicare eligibility starts three months before turning 65 and ends three months after turning 65.

5.How do I find a doctor that accepts my Medicare?

This is where Ashley and her team of advocates step in to assist you. Simply reach out, and they’ll help you find the right doctor and even assist with scheduling your appointment.

To find a doctor who accepts Medicare, you can also visit Medicare.gov and use the Care Compare tool. It allows you to search by address, city, state, ZIP code, provider type, or even the doctor’s name or practice.

6.How do I change my address with Medicare?

If you need to report a change of name or address to Medicare, you must tell Social Security, even if you aren’t receiving Social Security benefits.
